Bell Aliant is one of North America’s largest regional telecommunications providers, serving a population of 5.3 million Canadians.
Bell Aliant was created by joining Bell Canada’s regional wireline business in Ontario and Quebec, Bell’s majority interest in Bell Nordiq, and the Aliant wireline business, its information technology company, xwave, and its knowledge solutions through Innovatia.
Guided by our strengths, our people, and our experience, we will provide the highest-level products and services available anywhere to our customers across Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. We will be a recognized leader among North America’s information and communication technology providers, focused on making life, business, and entertainment simple for the people we serve.
Regional service focus and strength: Bell Aliant provides a structure for greater focus on regional customers - leveraging the proven expertise of Aliant and Nordiq in serving geographically dispersed regions. Headquartered in Atlantic Canada, Bell Aliant is led by a dedicated, senior management team from both Bell and Aliant. Our leaders and employees are located in regional offices across the entire territory and provide customers all the benefits of a team located close to them and focused on their specific regional needs.
Seamless customer change: Our customers will continue to have access to the same products, services and bundles; see the same brands; and be served by the same people in their communities – in the official language of their choice. Bell Aliant will use Bell Canada expertise through an outsourcing arrangement. A number of existing outsourcing agreements between Bell and Aliant have been extended to Bell Aliant.
People: Bell Aliant has approximately 10,500 employees. This is a combination of Aliant (8,400 – including 1,300 xwave and 300 Innovatia), Bell (1,000) and Bell Nordiq (1,100).
